Earn-A-Bike

What is Earn-A-Bike?

Earn-A-Bike is a program that brings young people together for approximately five weeks to learn basic bike mechanics, refurbish donated bikes, learn safe urban riding, and earn a bike of their own. Throughout the program, students also learn to think critically about the systems that contribute to challenges they face every day.

When is Earn-A-Bike?

We're currently offering our train-the-trainer Certified Mechanics Mentor (CMM) program in March 2026. Read on below for more details!

Stay tuned for details on 2026 EAB programs coming soon! We anticipate offering Earn-A-Bike in the spring (April) and summer (July, August) in Jamaica Plain. Sign up for our E-News to be the first to know.
