Youth Apprentice applications are open for the Summer 2026 cohort!

Applications are currently open for our Summer 2026 cohort of Youth Apprentices!

We hire youth and young adults to work as paid Youth Apprentices, who receive hands-on training in bike mechanics, entrepreneurship, and career development. Youth Apprentices will spend the summer engaging in career development workshops and working to advance Bikes Not Bombs's transportation equity initiatives.

How to Apply
Our Summer Entry cohort offers an excellent opportunity for youth to begin their journey at BNB as Youth Apprentices, including the possibility of employment beyond the summer.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Will be aged 14-18 during the employment period
  • Are a full-time resident of the City of Boston
  • Are legally permitted to work in the United States
  • Available to work 25 hours per week between June 23rd and August 29th
