Join us for a lively slideshow and discussion with the founder of Bikes Not Bombs. Carl will share his experiences and insights about transportation, economics, and environmental issues in nations from Central America to Africa. Bikes Not Bombs has shipped tens of thousands of bikes to towns and villages throughout the world, trained local residents (including war casualties), and established small businesses. It also teaches inner-city youths how to manage a bike-repair shop in its new facilities in Jamaica Plain.
