We invite you to the Bikes Not Bombs Hub at 284 Amory Street at 7pm on April 10th for a showing of Emmanuel’s Gift, projected on the big screen! This award-winning documentary, filmed in Ghana and narrated by Oprah Winfrey, tells the story of Emmanuel Yeboah who is partnering with Bikes Not Bombs to start up a new bicycle project in Ghana.

You need to be a current or past attendee in our youth programs in order to join us on these great rides!

Get in shape for BNB’s Bike-A-Thon on June 8th! All are welcome, come out for a fun ride. Both routes start at the same place and time but then go their separate ways.

Bikes Not Bombs newest international project will set up a bicycle workshop to employ a staff of disabled mechanics in Ghana. On April 26th, BNB will send a shipment of nearly 500 donated bicycles to get the project started. We start at 10:30 am and work until we finish, which we expect to be around 3:30 pm. Volunteers, come for any part of this time that works for you! We'll take a break around 1pm for a pizza lunch (provided) and a short talk about the project.

In Girls In Action, girls ages 10-13 have the opportunity to engage in basic bicycle mechanics, bicycle outings, sleepovers, arts and crafts and discussions on girls' issues. It's a good time for any girl who likes bikes and wants some positive time with a cool group of girls.

Here's some late-breaking news: Emmanuel Yeboah from Ghana is making a surprise visit to Bikes Not Bombs tonight at 7:30 pm and will be staying for part of the Wednesday volunteer night. He came to town for a function with the Free Wheelchair Mission, but wanted to surprise Bikes Not Bombs with his visit!
