Bikes Not Bombs is a full service repair shop. We do everything from fixing flats to complete tune-ups and overhauls. We are also a great resource for more esoteric repairs such as older bottom brackets where most shops do not stock the parts or a frozen seatpost where a torch is needed to remove it. If your bike is important to you and another shop tells you that it is beyond repair, outdated, or quotes you a price that you know is more than you should be paying, come to us. Some problems are expensive to fix, however, some merely require time, older parts, and a desire to not sell you a new disposable bike.

Another unique service we can offer is cheaper pricing on repairs by offering used parts for usually half the price of similar quality new parts.

We like talking to people about their bikes, and even more than that, we like getting people riding their bikes again. So come in any time we're open and we'll diagnose the problem, discuss your options and budget concerns, and provide you with an accurate estimate and timeframe for the repair.

Tune-Ups
Tune-Ups start around $55 and should be done fairly regularly. They include truing both wheels, adjusting the derailleurs and brakes, adjusting all the rotational systems (both hubs, headset and bottom bracket) and a complete safety check making sure everything is properly tightened and functioning.

Overhauls
Overhauls start around $90 and are needed less frequently. They include truing both wheels, adjusting derailleurs and brakes (and replacing cables if needed), opening up and greasing all the rotational systems (both hubs, headset and bottom bracket) and a complete safety check making sure everything is properly tightened and functioning.
